It's been talked about, debated, praised and condemned for 36 years… Pro-life people are dealing with pro-abort neighbors, who don't see the heinousness in it from a proper religious and moral point of view, even if they do they don’t feel it is there place to say.

(From a Christian perspective I find it mind boggling that a large part of the "Christian" community is more afraid of offending their neighbor than they are of offending God.)

On January 22, 1973 abortion was legalized, this infamous decision then and still leads our Nation divided by people who characterize themselves as "Pro-Life, or Pro-Choice." Unfortunately, "Pro-Choice" more times than not means the death of the developing child (but nonetheless a child) in the womb.  In large due to that one fateful winter day there is a valid question that is in order for today's political arena. That question is: "What has abortion done to the economy" particularly the Economy of our wallets (or purses) and our economic future.

Estimates from all governmental agencies and private organizations both opposing and marketing abortions commonly agree, there have been over 46,000,000 abortions performed since January 22nd 1973! The thing you never hear about from either side is the inescapable fact that millions of these aborted children would now be of the age that would be an able part of the workforce. Those ages, 16 to 34 would now be in the U.S. workforce, from the teenager taking your order at your favorite fast food restaurant, to a bright young professional building a business etc... They could very possibly be or be on their way to becoming much needed doctors, teachers, policemen, nurses,  (you get the picture). How many potential "Bill Gates" have been aborted? Has abortion killed the one person who might have found the cure for AIDS or Cancer? Yes, we might have aborted another Al Capone or Charles Manson, but in life the good and the bad are, have been and will always be present together, forever! The "good" would prevail over the "bad".  In addition skills contributed to our Country by these bright new citizens. would bring, they would be paying taxes, contributing to the Social Security Fund, while increasing the ratio of needed workers to keep the fund in the black (a very important truth) ….

Over 46 million (and counting)...

million parents not shopping for bottles, diapers, toys, booties, or school book and clothes.

Fewer teaching jobs, manufacturing jobs, healthcare jobs.

fewer teens filling summer and part time labor needs.

less workers earning, spending saving, investing their wages, paying taxes, adding mobility, adaptability, and productivity to the labor force.

less consumers of houses, cars, and other goods.

young people not making the market larger, more efficient, and more encouraging of investment and innovation.

fewer minds creating new knowledge and technology.

(This number grows by approximately 4000 more lost lives daily.)
